Spotlight On: Romantic geography with TOO MUCH Magazine
Spotlight On... is our new features series - short, snappy and spotlighting our favourite things. This week, Jade French picks TOO MUCH: Magazine of Romantic Geography.
TOO MUCH is just that, in the American hair-flip sense of the word. “Like, omg, that’s just too much”. It’s a gorgeously designed magazine, taking inspiration from what they dub ‘romantic geography’. With clean design, experimental layout and beautiful photography, it’s produced in Japan with a global array of writers and artists contributing. They say: “Its purpose is to document our collective experience of cities, and look at the ways people and landscapes make and remake one another”. Reflecting contemporary culture through the lens of a community based around the world, it’s a real chance to engage with cultures beyond your own experience.
